Commercial Licensing
The released package is free to use for up to 50 channels, 50 devices and 1000 variables. Exceeding any one limit requires a commercial offline license.
Before purchasing, decide whether you need source code, professional plugins, custom development or technical support. The formal documents confirmed with the author determine the agreement, service scope and source-license price.

License scope
Source license
- Licensed to an enterprise entity permanently, with full software source code.
- Supports core changes, additional features and deep customization. Suitable for solution providers, enterprise IoT platforms requiring control of their source, and projects with special requirements.
- Permits external sales as part of an overall solution, subject to the source-license agreement.
- Includes two years of free upgrades: new source releases are available free during the two years after authorization.
- Instance scope follows the formal agreement.
Activation code license
- Applies to the officially released Gateway software and includes no source code.
- Does not limit Gateway instance count or charge by the number of instances.
- Each instance still generates and imports an offline license using its own Gateway code, bound to its own installation key.
- Does not change local Gateway Web accounts, roles or menu permissions.
Official package usage
Normal use of the official installation package is permitted for free commercial use. Decompilation, reverse engineering, cracking features and attempts to obtain the source code are prohibited. See the copyright notice for other usage and distribution boundaries.
Activate the released package
- Purchase an activation code and sign in to the Docs account center.
- Enter the current instance's Gateway code as instructed and generate its offline license.
- Import the license in that Gateway under System Settings → Software Authorization.
- Repeat with each instance's own Gateway code when using multiple instances.
Gateway does not contact the authorization center while running. Choose a source license when source delivery or deep customization is required.
Invalid license-state files
The instance's license state contains installation identity and keys and should be backed up with deployment data. If an existing file is corrupt, lacks identity fields, or has mismatched keys, the program preserves it and reports an error rather than silently replacing it with a new instance.
For an invalid-state or missing-installation-identity error, preserve the original file at the reported path, check the runtime directory and persistent volumes, and restore a valid backup belonging to the same instance. Restart and check its Gateway code and license. Do not delete state files to repair parsing errors: that can create a new identity which no longer matches the offline license.
